Project details presented by Laura Bala & Keysha Carter (business owner).  Did install signage that covers most of the storefront windows.  Would like some input & review from this Committee to update the signage to receive appropriate approvals.

• Would not typically allow for phone numbers and website on signage.
• The white background creates a barrier for pedestrians to see inside the space
• Perhaps reduce the opacity?
• Perhaps reduce the amount of signage?

Councilman Polensek was available to state his support for the school on E. 185th St.

No action taken -- Laura Bala will continue to work with the business owner to address the signage and return for the 8/18 meeting.

• Are you proposing additional signage on the doors?

Motion to approve with the condition to use only the Healing Hands cut-out logo and identifying text on the glass doors; and using the top of the logo on the right side of the storefront as the level line to carry across all the other storefront windows (all graphics above the level line to be removed to allow transparency/opening at the top of the storefront).
